Alaska, Florida Consider Bill Banning Bestiality

All except about 15 states have some type of law against sexual abuse of animals. Can you imagine this? It is difficult to believe such is necessary but apparently it is. I love animals, but this story is ridiculous. I have recently read many articles that were gruesome, absurd, funny, cruel, and some even sadistic. But from them all, I don't think any have affected my thoughts of something being very sick, than those I read in researching this article.

In the Alaskan community of Klawock whose population is about 800, last April the following story developed concerning a branded sex offender. This man had had been convicted twice of raping a young boy and more recently had served probation for assault after lunging at a child. This, according to an Associated Press article. I don't know exactly what "lunging at a child" is comprised of, but at least it caused him to be placed on a period of probation.

It is reported that a woman saw this man coaxing a family's pet Labrador Retriever into the edge of a wooded area near a ball field. The story then explains that according to witnesses, the man tied the dog to a tree, wrapped duct tape tightly around it's jaws and then committed a sex act with it.

The pitiful part in this writer's eyes, is the dog. Although it was not treated by a veterinarian, it was reported that the pressure from the tape on it's nose caused some blood vessels in the dogs eyes to burst, plus being nervous, sensitive to the touch and jumpy for a long time after the incident.

When the incident was reported, the police did nothing for two days because Alaska has no law specifying sex with an animal. Due to the fear of the community however, they did arrest him on on two counts of criminal mischief and later changed it to theft.

The Alaskan legislature is now working on a bill to ban any sexual acts with animals. Florida is also pushing through a similar bill after after having accumulated a large folder with incidents of sex acts with animals, including one blind man who had confessed to having sex on a regular basis with his guide dog. Unbelievable!

Numerous other incidents were found in my efforts to research this paper and I became so discouraged, I almost threw it all in the trash can. It seems that Florida first began to consider an act to ban such acts, may have started in 2006 after a 48 year old man was suspected of taking a neighbor's pet goat and accidentally strangling it to death while sexually abusing it.

Although this is very sickening, one enterprising Florida entrepreneur began selling T-shirts with "Baaa means No" on the chest.

One of the prime factors behind the push for laws against sexual behavior with animals is caused by studies which show that those who molest animals in such a manner, is many times more likely to molest humans in the same manner, especially children.

In fact, so many such studies have shown this, it is considered a verified fact. And I don't doubt it.

I would probably be better off to omit my final thought towards this perversion in one's mind. But I won't. To me these perversions are nauseating. No one loves dogs more than I yet I have never had one of them or any other animal to appeal to me sexually. And this is one reason I am convinced that sexual appeal for a human of the same sex is just as much a sick perversion as these we have covered. For instance, the blind man no doubt loved his dog very much. And possibly the dog loves him. But to consider that this is normal is, in itself, sick.
