Those activists whose flag unfurls in wind from the left have created a new category of crime. They call it "hate speech." This is a subcategory of political correctness. If they can catch a conservative violating their unwritten code of acceptable speech, immediately they experience spasms, gasping for breath and frothing at the mouth. When they recover themselves, they began a loud, clamorous campaign of blame and finger-pointing. From a distance they can be heard shouting "Prejudice! Discrimination! Insensitive! Hate Speech! Fire him! Blackball him!"
Of course protections against hate speech are reserved only for a few special groups that take refuge under the wings of the liberal establishment: feminists, gays, Jews, Blacks, Native Americans and Hispanics. Unprotected are Whites in general, White males in particular, Christians and political and social conservatives.
To see first hand the viciousness of hate speech, one need only look back to what the spokespersons of the Democrat Party and their liberal backers had to say about former President George W. Bush. Nothing was held back. Unrestrained hatred and vitriol were heaped on the man who twice won the presidency over their candidate. If he acted, they condemned him for acting. If he did not act, it was the same. They questioned his intelligence, his honesty, his religion, his sincerity. For anything bad that happens he was blamed. For nothing good was he given credit. They labored day and night to defeat everything he attempted to do and then blamed him for not getting more done!
Political correctness and its provisions against hate speech are not designed to protect the weak and assure peace and harmony in society. These are weapons forged to silence opponents of their liberal agenda. They are used as a club to bash and destroy those who stand in the way of their quest for power and dominance.
