Will We Provide the Rope With Which To Hang Us?

As we learn more about how easily the terrorists were able to enter our country and inflict horrible damage on our people, one is forced to the conclusion that while they were very shrewd enemies, we have also been a very stupid people.

For years the Muslim extremists have been telling us that they wished to see our nation and civilization punished and brought to its knees. We watched them inflict death and damage on other people and nations and even on our overseas operations and still did next to nothing to protect ourselves from an attack on our homeland. Politicians postured, media mouths blew smoke rings and the enemy took his position among us. Our borders have been as porous as a sieve. Vital information relating to public security is daily broadcast, posted in newspapers, libraries, government publications and the Internet. All a terrorists has to do is walk around and pick up the necessary information with which to inflict damage upon us.

TV talking heads, go into great detail about our vulnerabilities. They explain the kind of terrorist attacks that could easy be accomplished. They feature stories about places where our security is weakest, complete with pictures. Not only do they feed public fear and apprehension, they are a virtual road map showing terrorist where to hit us for maximum effect.

Producers of video games produced and retailed the videos the terrorists used to practice flying their planes into the World Trade Center. They made their bucks, and 5,000 people are dead.

Mindless Congressmen, listening to the inane lobbying of liberals, whose greatest fear is that America will be strong and secure, gutted our various intelligence agencies. They were left analyzing satellite photos while the terrorists drove the swords into the heart of the nation.

Now that we have been victimized and are finally responding to the act of war perpetrated against us, that same ungodly crowd that rendered our nation impotent during the Viet Nam War is rushing to undermine and undercut the nation’s resolve to deal with the terrorists. During our conflict with Communism these placators were heard to say, " Better Red than dead! " It seems today that they had rather live under the fear of terrorism than to fight as free men so they and their children could live in peace and liberty. They do not understand that chains are worse than death. We should do them the favor of providing them free passage to Afghanistan and let them experience first hand the joys of living in a society where Islamic fundamentalists prevail.

A dictator from the Communist era once boasted that " the Americans will provide the rope for us to hang them. " He did not live to see his prediction fulfilled, but his counterparts in the Islamic terrorist movement can testify to the truth of his prophecy.

I see John that you are one of the few who even know about the Communist Manifesto. TRy asking that of anyone 40 or younger and see the numebrs who do know?

Thanks Robert: Islamic terrorists are more dangerous than the Communists. Communists were not eager to die. Hence our threat of retaliation kept them at bay. Islamic jihadists long to die at our hands. That would guarantee them a place in their heaven along with the pleasures of lovely women.

Our president and his advisors seem totally naieve regarding this Moslem threat. By their eagerness to appease them they are inviting more attacks.
