You might be a rightwing extremist or terrorist if... Sounds like the beginning of a joke, but, sadly, it is not. On April 7, 2009 the Department of Homeland Security released a document to local law enforcement nationwide. That document gives a definition of a rightwing extremist and what terrorist activity law enforcement officials should be watching for. If I were a betting woman, I'd bet most Americans fall into this catagory. That alone is unsettling, but the document hints that if one is rightwing, one is also a racist. Here is my short list of signs you may fall into the Government's stereotyped warning.
You may be a rightwing extremist if:
1. You believe the United States should abide by the Constitution.
2. You believe that local authority is better than federal authority, or self-governing at the state level.
3. You believe you have a right to bear arms.
4. You do not believe the United States needs a federal police force because the United States Armed Forces cannot protect our nation.
5. You are dedicated to a single issue - if, say, a candidates stance on abortion or immigration makes or breaks if you will cast your vote for that person.
6. You are caucasian.
By the way, you do not need to answer "yes" to all of the above statements, just one or two affirmatives make you a threat to our country's national security.
Read the document and see for yourself. If it wasn't so scary, it would be funny. Isn't this racial profiling that under the politically correct was considered unfair and unconstitutional?
The Washington Post provides a copy of the document here:

Hi Lorrie, thanks for writing this article. Yes, I expected the things that are happening, to happen even before the election, but you couldn't say much because everyone was ready to call you a racist and a Bush lover. I would give anything I own to have George Bush back in office right now. You see, Obama had a bunch of young thugs he was training while he was still in the Illinois legislature.
Somewher down the road, you are going to see a revolt from some segment and he is afraid the military will not side with him. So he must create an armed force, loyal to him. Thanks again for sharing this with us.

Joel, I never thought the Department of Homeland Security would consider law-abiding Americans as terrorists. But, as the laws change, so will the definition of our country. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Greetings Lorrie, I'd say your article is right on... but apparently not that effective... else it would have evoked a LOT of intolerant, hate-monger comments in response. Michelle Malkin says it best: "Civility and tolerance have taken a left-hand turn down a one-way street. So much for changing course." - Keep up the good work; being careful you are not ID'd as a... you-know-what! Blessings, Dennis» left by Lorrie Davids (2 years 293 days ago.)
Thanks, Dennis, for reading and commenting. Webgazine is a conservative site so unless someone very happy with the way things are going logs in, most people commenting will probably be in agreement with me, to a point, anyway Check out Kerplop or Searchwarp for more diverse views.

Hi Lorrie, very scary, thanks for highlighting these few things. I am going to share this article with my friends --especially those who have family in the miltary serving our country, trying to preserve our rights» left by Lorrie Davids (2 years 290 days ago.)
Thanks, Teresa, for reading and commenting. Do you remember the song "Living Life Upside Down" by Truth - a long time ago? That is what keeps coming to mind when I see the direction our country is going.
