MP’s Expenses where’s the fences?

My Books and Articles (under construction)
As you have probably heard MP’s (members of parliament) have been claming tax payers money for some ridiculous and down right unnecessary things. I am personally disgusted and want something to be done about it – and fast.
If we zoom back a few months we have the bankers under attack for being paid too much and taking excess bonuses for making losses in billions. The papers coined the term “Bonus Britain” and to be honest I was not nearly as mad at them as I am at these MP’s. I would like to coin the term “pickpocket parliament” to describe the situation.
However I would like to make it clear that there are a number of politicians who have not been riding the system for every penny but as we find all too often: 90% of politicians give the other 10% a bad reputation and this is exactly what has happened here. So at this point I would like to exclude the proper politicians and hope the other follow there example; unlike the other lot…
All this week in the Daily Telegraph the MP’s have had all there expenses published for all to see. Here are a few of the nastiest:
- · MP’s husband claims for porn
- · Chancellor claims for help with tax return
- · Payment for mortgages on second homes that no longer exist.
- · Claims for second homes that the MP does not live in.
- · Advertising sports matches.
- · An I-phone
- · Cleaning bills.
As you can see something drastic must be done. At present there seams to be no barriers to extraordinarily ridiculous claims. New legislation has to be brought in or else we will find ourselves with a corrupt government –thank goodness for the media.
To but it bluntly in order to avoid MP’s finding themselves in this situation (
