Liberals Are Losing Ground To The Republicans Daily

For the past two years, the Democrats in congress have polled well ahead of the Republicans...until recently. Since the new administration took office and especially in view of the enormous stimulus and bailout spending, voters have been changing their minds rapidly. Their percentage of favorable rating has dropped steadily from sometime in February and even still in May, they held a one percentage point lead. The latest Rasmussen poll released on June 8, 2009 shows the Republicans now are trusted to do a better job with the prime problem (the economy) by 45% while 39% trust the Democrats more.
The economy is not the only factor where the Democrats have lost their lead. The Republicans also now hold a six-point lead on the government ethics and corruption issue, while only one month ago, the Democrats held a comfortable 11 point lead on that issue. And this issue was chosen as the second most important issue, behind only the economy.
For the last eight months, the Republicans have led handily on the issue of National Security, and still do by 51% to 36%. They now hold an 8 point lead on the war in Iraq issue, up from a 2 point lead in May and from trailing in April. They pulled ahead of the Democrats in April on the issue of Immigration when the Dems had a 2 point lead in March.
The Democrats still lead in the three issues of health care, education and Social Security even though their lead has diminished on Social Security and health care. The parties still have a solid tie on the abortion issue.
I predicted earlier if things continue to go as they are now going, the Republicans will regain the majority in both houses of congress one and one-half years from now and the presidency in three and one half years from now. If people cannot yet see why I predicted such, they will very soon.
The Democratic party's leadership is comprised of non-leaders. You cannot run over the American people rough-shod without damaging your standing with them. The majority of the American voters were opposed to the enormous bailout monies, the stimulus monies and budget proposed and passed by the Democrats without regard to public opinion.
President Obama assumes that his sizable majority win on November 2 was a mandate for him and his Chicago mob to do any and all things they pleased without regard to their welfare. He tells the public to keep their tires inflated to save energy while he takes Airforce One joy riding every few days. He can fly himself and wife on a night out date as frequently as he wishes. Does he actually believe that his win gave the public's opinion that they enjoy spending tax money for such?
Those who were adamantly for him, remain in his camp regardless but those who only voted for him because they did not want McCain are leaving in droves. Those who are not affiliated with either the Democratic party or Republican party now voted in favor of the Republican party on the economy issue by a two to one majority.
He has continued to refuse to release access to his long form birth certificate and his school records even though there have been and continue to be numerous lawsuits brought to force the issue. His team has spent an estimated $1M dollars or more to squash any evidence on these issues, when it would only take an o.k. on his part to resolve the issue and put it to rest.
Besides the lawsuits pending, currently there are a number of state s citizen grand juries formed or being formed and indictments being handed down by them: Read this paragraph taken from the American Grand Jury website (americangrandjury.org):
"All and all approximately 200 unique American Grand Jury members have voted to indict Obama in the past 7 weeks. Thus far we have served over 120 presentments with different courts, sheriffs, judges and district attorneys around the Nation."
Again, I say that this is pure foolishness on the part of the president and his party to try and continue to sweep this under the rug. I doubt there are many voters who have not heard of these various accusations and lawsuits, some of which accuse the president of not being a natural born citizen while others contend he is not a citizen in any respect, all with persuasive evidence. If these things are untrue, they need to be legally resolved rather than spending millions of dollars to silence them.
The only thing he and his party have done is to place a "certificate of live birth" on his website and a few others. This certificate does not indicate the doctor who delivered him, the hospital in which he was born or anything truly pertinent. Those who have brought the lawsuits contend that the state of Hawaii issues those certificates to anyone who moves there and asks for them, so long as they show evidence of the birth to them from elsewhere. Others have hired experts who contend the certificate is forged anyway.
It is disgraceful, to allow such tumult and distraction from the many other problems this nation faces. If he can present proof that he was actually born in Hawaii, then he needs to do so. If he cannot, whatever legalities are involved should be acted upon. The media and his party should cease to try and hide this problem as they have since it arose from before the election.

A Google search of "Obama lawsuits", "Citizen Grand Juries Indict Obama", "Obama Crimes" and most anything else will bring up numerous websites. By the time I was in the 5th grade I had learned that any child that is born with at least one parent who is a U.S. citizen, that child is automatically a U.S. citizen. I’ve never heard anyone question the citizenship of President Obama’s mother, so of course he is a U.S. citizen.This is only one reason why President Obama is a U.S. citizen. Being born on U.S. soil, and his legally certified birth certificate are 2 more. Knowing this, your constant questioning of whether our President is an American citizen says more about you than it does about him.Respond to this comment

Joe, are you still a fifth grader? It says so in your header. A person born in the U.S. is a citizen of the U.S. but that being said, even if he were born in the U.S. (Which has yet to be proven-His paternal grandmother adamantly stated he was born in Kenya and she was present at his birth) it is a proven fact, that he attended school in Jakarta, Indonesia at age 6, listed as a citizen of Indonesia. Indoneaia does not allow students to attend their schools with dual citizenship. Therefore, he had to relinquish his U.S. Citizenship in order to attend as an Indonesian. There is no evidence that he his citizenship in the U.S. was reinstated upon his return.
The certificate you refer to is not a legally registered birth certificate as you state, but is a certificate of live birth which can be obtained by an American whose child was born in another country, when they refurn and present the foreign birth certificate. The long form, or original birth certificate contains much more information than the one he has made public. That is all the public is asking, that the original birth certificate be made public. Does it make sense to you that anyone would spend millions of dollars and lose the confidence of many thousands, simply because he did not wish to show his original birth certificate. A five year old can figure that one out. Something is amiss. He and the DNC, locked down access to all his public records, health, birth, school and even had the police in Kenya to screen any calls or other contact with his Grandmother there.
I'll be glad to show him, or you, my birth certificate.

Wow, you must get your news from talk radio to be so gullible, or even worse you must really have a racial ax to grind if you are so unwilling to face the facts in order to accommodate your biases.
You really have my pity. My best consolation is that your generation is having less and less impact on society, and the younger generation, with less racial bias, is having more and more influence. I hope to see the day when your generations narrow mindedness is gone, but then I guess that's just human nature.

Well, 5th grader anonymous, I see you had no refutation to any point I made. Your only defense is that I am old and you are young and I am a racist, according to you. I voted for Alan Keyes in the presidential primaries. I guess I am racist except for Mr. Keyes,
You are not only young, you are totally blind. Respond to the statement that they have spent millions to hide the fact there is no legitimate original birth certificate, or if there is, they do not want the information on it revealed. You are young, non-racist, more intelligent than my generation. You should have a thoroughly satisfactory reason for this secrecy. But if your last comment shows all you know, I rest my case. I am really thankful that you pity me though. And, I do not agree that it human nature to hope to see the day that all the old people are gone. They never are my friend, and your day for being one is swiftly approaching. I am thankful that I have lived in the time I have, when younger people respected their elders and respected authority and any who deserved it. I still say "Sir" and "Maam" to people who are even near my age and to those in authority of any race whatsoever.

Mr. Hendon, I too would like to know your answer. Your response to him doesn't have anything to do with his question, so why would he try to refute it?
The law says that a person born with at least one U.S. citizen for a parent automatically is a U.S. citizen. No one, not even you, has indicated that Obama's mother was not a U.S. citizen, so how could he not be a U.S. citizen?
I have a cousin who was a missionary to Kenya. While there, she met and married a Kenyan man. Their children, which were born in Kenya, automatically became U.S. citizens. Why wouldn't this apply to President Obama as well, even if he was born in Kenya?

Thanks for commenting and questioning the article in a nice way. I understand all do not agree with me but sometimes when they attack me personally, it gets under my skin. First, you are not correct to say that as long as one parent is a citizen of the U.S., the child is automatically a citizen. If one or a couple of Americans have a child born in a foreign nation, the child is automatically a citizen of that country. They can, upon return to the U.S., renounce the foreign citizenship and have the child become a "naturalized" citizen. It is the same way here. The illegal immigrants here can have a child and the child is an American citizen.
The constitution requires a president to be a "Natural Born" citizen, which means he has to have been born here in the U.S.
Now the otherpart is...Even if he was born here, he was registered in a school in Indonesia at age 6 as a citizen of Indonesia, Indonesia does not allow children in their public schools with a dual citizenship. So, IF he once was a U.S. citizen, his parent(s) had to have renounced his American citizenship to enroll him there. So, those who are questioning him are only asking to be shown (1) If he is a "natural Born" citizen, and/or if he was, they want proof that his citizenship was re-instated when he returned. If he can prove those things, why is he not doing so? That's all I'm asking, or anyone else as far as I know.
I refuse to believe that a president, or anyone would face the lawsuits that have been brought against him and the Democratic National Committee, and still refuse to show something if it were available. Why?
By the way, I did not see any question that the other commentor asked. His was only criticism.
