A Nation of Connivers and a Possible Reflection of Ourselves?

One of the major end time warnings that God provides is the study of people and their works in the last days. Now the ironic part is you do not have to be a believer to recognize these types. They do it for you. Yet, it is critical believers identify who these people are and avoid them, not support them and certainly have no dealings with them. The are the types that follow after physics, astrologers, and believe in a host of supposedly spiritual practices and beliefs.
Now please understand, that is their individual choice. No one has a right to argue with that and I do not they are as we all are free within our minds to make them. However, my God and those who believe in Christ says He will send them a strong delusion and in that they will find offense to what I write. Yet it is no more then confirmation for the believer. Like I said, I have no problem with their individual choice. I just point this out to those who call themselves Christians but follow that New Age Spiritual beliefs and are following the doctrines and beliefs of men and not God's Word. Since God is the Word they also do not follow Jesus Christ.
We must also be alert to recognize the signs attached to them because they usually follow after them, although many come in peace, gentle and humble, their works tell a different tale as expressed in what they approve of, do or don't. However, to that end the signs are blatantly clear. It is not in the smile, the kind words, what they profess, what they promise or say, it is not in the gesture that we may experience and are quick to define as good. Why, because many times evil comes as light and good and it does not come as harmful, yes like dope. If you sway from the truth then the mission has been accomplished. To that end the Word warns us to be on guard. However, in examining this we who say we are believers should also reflect on who we are and what we do as Christians. Do we do that or deny that which is defined herein? The truth defined by you.
Now if we look hard it seems that in all ways we have become a nation of connivers. What is that and why do you say that? Manipulators try to sell, make their point, get approval and buy in. Basically to gain a step up and advantage. The word itself means to close ones eyes to wrong doing, accepting, allowing, ignoring, and participating while manipulating varied things to accomplish the goal, agenda. That is laws, people, works, education, information, etc,. Now to that degree many fail to recognize just what that says. Read the definition above and then apply it to your understanding and real beliefs in God's Word and you get what I am talking about. Certainly many believe in astrology and find no fault in it, but what does God say? Some consult seers and psychics and what does God say about that? They even believe them before God's Word yet call themselves of all things Christians. Of course those that this applies to and that is the great majority of us will cry out, not I, certainly not me. Yet, if we look at all that is and what is hidden, not spoken of, ignored, and allowed and that we participate in directly or indirectly, that is by what we do or don't, in almost every aspect of society there are few words that are as exact as that description and definition.
We can talk about multitudes of examples from personal to business to religion and have many times before. Yes ignored by many they are what they are. It is done in many and varied ways, alone, by our own actions, in groups, political parties, agencies, organization, our positions in life and yes perhaps even the church. What are some? LIke I stated, when we manipulate someone for personal gain, a sale, sex, position, money, or agenda we connive. How about the sin of usury and we all know first hand that fits. Certainly we all know of it and certainly those who wrote the laws and sit in places of government who allow it are accomplices with no defense. Then again we can talk about the hidden fee's and costs and yes the laws, such as the right of recovery, a right to work state, etc and those who make them, who make the rules, who plan them and place them into policies, agreements and practice. Those who say one thing but do another or "qualify." What of omissions, the rest of the story, does that not count, oh I forgot to mention that, really? What of those who do so knowing they trap people? Is there no shame in this? Does the words unsecured, no collateral, signature loan mean anything? Quite frankly no more because they are manipulated by, you got it connivers, who know what they do and the reason why they do it and all the time coming to you as light and good and in your behalf. And who redirect the blame onto others, "I'm only doing my job", they not I.
We can list the many government agencies and even church organizations that brag of providing help but in reality even that is qualified, limited, non existent, or for business and not all people. You must take "civil action" or call back next year we helped you already once. They know this is truth and many who used them know it as well and all the while they preach, espouse, say help is on the way", all the time knowing, yes knowing they are facades. Yes and as they like to say, if you qualify, have money and credit, are not a low life, dead beat, or irresponsible type, or lets face it average person, help is for you because that allows them to allude to loving, caring and feeling your pain, really and being good and decent as society sets the standard. Hard but truth.
Yes you will hear their marketing," we have plenty of money to lend", "zero interest or down payment" and "huge price reductions and discounts", all fabrications and don't forget, for those that qualify. We can go right down the list item after item, even in our very professed faith beliefs, those who profess a belief in God but not the bible, His Word or certain or selective aspects of His Word. These are those who call themselves a member of a denomination but do not believe in that denominations laws, rules, beliefs or doctrines. Those who do not go to church, participate or as I just said, hold different perspectives, yet they dare to call themselves Christian, or Catholic or some other denomination. They are what they are and no words, professions or wrapper can change that their works stand before them. They say they are enlightened, educated, informed, really? Yes and truth, in an age when even that is rejected and found offensive because it is what the Word says it is and it doesn't sit well with them. Yes and because they do not know they don't know that is biblical as well.
We can talk of manipulation, exploitation, greed, maneuvering. How you ask, like forcing people out of their homes and onto the street knowing you can write off the debt, get a tax break and talk of wanting to refinance but won't. Like telling people you want to help keep them in their home by gong through special programs, all of which you know are a farce. Like telling people there is money for first time buyers but with so many rules and qualifications few can make use of it. Like telling people they can buy a home on a short sale but not accepting the bid or qualifying the buyer and continually upping the price until you get what you want for the home. Yes like sending the seller a 1099R as income to be taxed after the sale but telling them don;t worry about it, really. Yes just like the credit card companies. Like trying to sell them a home that is on a sinkhole, when you know it and all know it but the buyer. Like telling people "helps on the way" when in your heart of hearts you know it isn't for everyone. Like forcing people to over insure their home on their owners insurance for replacement when their actual mortgage is 1/3 of the cost of that number they give you. Like your taxes never going down while your true value does. Yes these are realities, truth, I do not make them up, they who do the deed and implement them prove them truth. Get the message, yes and get this by your neighbors, family, friends and people, your fellow Americans, fact.
Yes coming to people as agents for good and decency but having a totally different agenda. Yes and they brag about the deals and their good fortune while you and perhaps your neighbors are crushed, abused, exploited and labeled. Yes by them, your neighbors, it is sadly what it is.
Certainly you reject and are offended in the definition of "conniver"? Certainly you do and when you reject being identified with that definition, when you refuse to read anything that convicts you of that, when you ignore what you do and say it only confirms that belongs to you. No, don't be quick to say I judge you, certainly not, you judge yourself by your works. That is what defines you, not your words. Yes and not all are connivers, the works are the separator.
Where is that established? Well only one place and that place is where only you and God know for sure and that is in your inner being. Where your heart is, that is what you seek the most, there is your God, that is who you really are, what you condone, accept and do or don't do. Deep, not really, a very basic perspective and simply speaking as I like to call my writings, fact, reality, truth. No, help is not on the way for many who do not qualify and yes the great majorities are not true believers but sadly this is what this article is all about. We have sadly and in my opinion become a nation of connivers. It is overwhelming to find out.
Now all one need do to prove me wrong is observe, listen, seek with an open mind and ear, with truth, each and every day in everything you do and read and who you interact with and especially leaders. By fact you will understand what I write to plain as day. I need not convince you they will. Does it matter, certainly not, only to the few, the very few, who are not blinded by this world. The rest oblivious and unbelieving. They will give their own testimony to that rejecting all.
Yet I take the time to write to those who seek and who listen and who find themselves searching, wondering what is happening in this world, about the signs all about, where we are heading? That is who will read articles like this with an open mind and heart. Be that only one, I have succeeded. You see God will draw those who He wants to search to anything that will lead you to Him. I do not lead you anywhere, I just voice my belief and opinion according what God has said in His Word. He, as I said defines them, not I.
