To Fall On Deaf Ears.

by straight talk(76)

To fall on deaf ears implies the handicap impacts a person in a spiritual way, that is not being able to hear the Word of God. God states that in the end times he will send a delusion upon those who are damned. They will be able to see and hear physically, but they will not spiritually or intellectually. Now all that is happened at the hand of God they will never see, hear or understand. It was that way in the days of Noah and of Jesus and it is now. In the days of Noah they went to their destruction mocking.

In fact I am just now coming to that realization. Of all of my works, a thousand or more articles over 3, 4 or 5 years and poetry that is all generally along the same lines that one could sum them up with a few words, sin being one of them. Some other words may be a wake up call or a call to action. Yes and I became very frustrated with so few people reading and being interested in what I thought great numbers of people would flock to read. Yes the very same ones who are in the majority and I thought in my belief, that is because they profess to be good and decent and yes even believers, that the numbers of interested, concerned, would not be so meager. I really thought many would read and be interested, no not because of my writing skills but because of the topic and content. How wrong I was and still am. You see I was using the words criteria and standards to form that opinion.

However, as I have grown in what I dabble in I came to the realization that they literally were and are oblivious to what is taking place in their midst. It doesn't phase them in the least, that is to be concerned or care. Aware yes, but it does not impact them, or so they think. Now certainly not all but a very vast number when we look to the billions on this planet. It is there right before us and yet the Word of God is so true, as it was in the days of Noah.

Wow, what a time to be living and experiencing this. Now certainly many will dispute this. They will give all sorts of reasons. They will say this means this and that means that. They will say the bible is written in many literary forms by many men and that the words have varied meanings and on and on and on. Yes and many are even clergy, religious. They argue over this and that and they form their own doctrines, laws, beliefs and they subjugate their followers to those laws, based on what, you got it the Word. The Word of God they say. They cannot even get along with each other and everyone of them are right and everyone else wrong in one way or another.

So if a person accepts this is the Word of God then in my opinion it matters not the literary form, literal or not. If God says when you see the Fig tree sprout then know that this generation shall not pass before all things are fulfilled, then to me, a believer, God said that and I believe it. Why is this so hard to grasp?

Well back to what I started out with, blinders. You see Jesus the Messiah 2000 years ago was in their midst and they killed Him. They didn't recognize Him and these were the religious and most intelligent intellectuals of their day. His message not theirs. His kingdom not of this world, problem, they wanted the world in the way it was and is. The trap, yes the trap, intelligence, thinking you are so smart you know it all, can do it all and have no belief or need for God. It is a disease in my opinion and after time you believe you are so smart you know it all. You even may cast God out and since God gives you free choice He lets you. It's like a good friend who calls and calls you but each time you have no time for them. After awhile they just go their way. Will they take you back, perhaps, choice, theirs.

So anyone who writes to the Word, the times, religious articles, sin, character, morality, justice and all the issues of the day, as in the days of Noah, will not find a receptive audience. They will find the few, the remnant as God says. Yet don't be discouraged in your writing or spreading the Word or information because that is what we are encouraged to do. Always make sure it is not your doctrine, belief but shore it up with God's Word. Don't make any prophecy since God selects His prophets. No, give the information as it is written and let others form their own opinion. If God wants to draw them to Him He will.

Also understand God is in charge and He will do what He wants to do according to His plan and not what you believe even though what you are stating may very well come to pass it is at Gods hand. He just lets you know the while you do not know the day or the hour but when it is even at the door.

Now in my denomination I will and am criticized because of my beliefs. Even religious within the church are as well and must remain in obedience to their superiors, yet they know the word as well or better then the average man. The question is are their superiors under a delusion? Are they blind as the scribes and Pharisee's of Christ day were?

Now God says He will not lose one whose name is written in the book of life. You can only be excluded from that book by individual choice called rejection of Him. Now that is the essence of our walk here on earth. Unbelievers call God any number of things. They say religion is an invention of man to hold us together. That when we become enlightened and aware then our concept of God will change and we can bring about the new age, where all men are brothers and believe in the same God, whatever that is defined as.

Yes they talk the talk of morality, ethics, and love but where is it demonstrated? They claim it will be when we reach that new awareness about God. Do you really believe that Do you see this new flower age where everyone is a love child coming to be from the hands of man? Do you see the works of man, the creations of man being for good or do you see more of the same in a different form?

I'm sorry; the works of man have been sin, no longer an acceptable word, replaced by relative. Is black really black, etc. So the belief, choice, falls to the individual. Where do you stand? What is your belief? Do you implement it in thought, word or deed or do you merely speak it, profess it and your works merely facades to get bye, to make others aware you profess or for self interests?

This is why I believe what is taking place is nothing more then to Fall on deaf ears for the masses. Perhaps it is time to open those senses up to God, just perhaps?

Robert,

God doesn't require a certain number to read or hear what you are saying. He may only call you to touch one person for which He has greater plans, leave the masses to his design. I learned this from a story of a minister who spend his whole life preaching to what amounted to 10 people in his congregation. Growth eluded him in his ministry, but his message never wavered for those that listened because he knew ultimately it was God's ministry. Take care.

Yes John you are correct and I sincerely aprpeciate your kind words.  I will add though that many times we humans get carried away in demonstrating our zeal. It sometimes takes awhile to realize we are not the driver nor in charge as we want to share our experiences and beliefs with others. As i stated, I really didn't see this and as you put into perspective for quite sometime. Yet, it has rfeinforced my beliefs as to my thinking and has become a confirmation. My very best to you and yours and i do hope all is well?
