Do You Recognize the Signs In the Heavens?
by straight talk(76)In an earlier article and on my other blog I spoke to the recent eclipse that drew millions all around this globe to seek it out with wonder. Interestingly I did not know but it seems this same eclipse had fallen on exactly the same date on the Jewish [note that] calendar none year earlier. It is the beginning of a significant feast day which is the burning of the first and second Temples , Solomon's and then Herod's, exactly 500 years to the day apart. Interestingly it is also to come on the same day next year, exactly one year later, 2010.
Now many nations, including the U.S. government and scientific agencies are prediction major events to take place in the heavens over the next decade. The Aztec prophecy of 2012 tied to heavenly events is just one. Yet we are talking those tied to the Jewish calendar and no other. In fact there are so many in history tied to heavenly events one would be shocked or at least surprised. I'm sure Messianic Jews are well versed in these prophesies?
Now is this significant? The first year eclipse path traveled over the northern hemisphere. This last one went clear across the central part of the world, chiefly India and China [surprisingly, considering they hold a considerable portion of the worlds population, are pagan and their people reacted with great interest] and the one next year due to pass over the southern hemisphere. Coincidence, one thinks not when they do the math. There are also predictions of more coming heavenly eclipses which coincide with, guess what, the Jewish calendar and feast days.
Now why would that be surprising that it is tied to the Jewish calendar? Christ was a Jew. The promise God the father made was to the Jews, and the events that are told of in the bible are spoken to the Jews and of course all gentiles who accept our Lord Jesus Christ.
Now many ask a lot of questions about who God is and why He does what He does and why He allows what He does to take place. They look for Him everywhere but where He is, right in front of them. They never understand that God told us all of what would happen and who He was in His Word. If they can't accept the Word they can't accept Him, who is the Word, hence they are anti Christ's by their own lips or mouth. It is really that simple. Some even accept Holy Scripture by their own faith but reject Jesus as the Son of God, even while Holy Scripture supports that entirely. How can this be, one word, delusion. Only a few will be saved.
Second Peter 3:3-4 talked of scoffers so why would any believer be surprised that Christ is rejected? He and His followers were rejected in that day by the most educated and powerful of men and killed by the masses of get this, professed believers. So, God, that is God the Father and His Son gave us the entire story from start to end. What would happen, when it would happen, how to recognize it as when it was even at the door? They also said not all would be saved. Yes check it out. And they gave us all free will to accept or deny choice.
Now one does not have to believe anything but one would think if God told us exactly what He was going to do we ought to listen intently? Yes thousands of prophecies telling of how it all started the coming Savior, and His final return and the great majority came to pass as told. He could not be so clear about it. Yet He also sent those who dispute that a delusion, a strong delusion that get this, that they would believe a lie.
So He who is faithful not to lose one who God the Father has given Him will bring all to salvation through Him. Those who were made for the wrath will go through the wrath. How does that equate to love, well you have to understand who God loves and who he will save and what YOU have chosen.
Now my mere words ineffective because they come from man to man. Yet wisdom comes from the fear of God. First you have to find God, THE GOD and then understand study, know Him. He will do the rest.
So the choice for each of us individually. Not one can save another. Not one can lead another to God. Only God can save, lead, bring. Yet we are to share, encourage, pass along, teach what we have gained for others to contemplate, study, consider. We are to live the life we profess not merely profess. So the signs in the heavens, the earth, just the beginning. For me exciting to learn new things each day from varied sources.
If we call ourselves intelligent, intellectuals, smart, educated, inquisitive, seekers then why are we afraid to find God? You say you have looked and can't find Him. Well I would be worried because you most likely don't believe in Hell, the Devil or anything, no fear of God, well you may have smarts, and you just lack wisdom. Yes as God stated, only the fool.
So if I have made you inquisitive, I have done my job. If I have solicited a reaction, I have done my job. Yes even a rejection has completed my job sufficiently because I have placed it before you for discernment, which is for you to choose. I hope and pray you will choose wisely.
