Our Nation’s Freedoms and Political Correctness Are Dooming Us

It seems to have become anathema for a nation which has a history of freedom of speech, to now mention anything whatsoever which is contrary to someone else’s philosophy or religion. I have just read an article published in the English version of Russia’s Pravda.ru online. This article is titled, “USA moves towards Caliphate”. The article opens with a double-whammy. Read this opening paragraph:

The United States is a stronghold of tolerance, including towards Muslims. However, the latter time after time demonstrates bizarre twists. The owner of an Islamic television channel fighting with the negative stereotypes about Muslims has brutally murdered his wife, and Imam of "Mosque Ground Zero" that promised to be a bastion of moderate Islam, called to imprison those who refused to believe in Allah. One of the items is referring to the earlier conviction of one Muzammila Hassan, 44 of Buffalo, New York whose wife asked him for a divorce. The Pakistani-American then reportedly purchased two hunting knives, sharpened them to razor sharpness and caught his wife in their darkened hallway where he stabbed her forty times. He then cut off her head and went to the police to report that he found his wife dead.

After it was proven that he was the one who killed her, Hassan then changed his plea to self-defense, saying that his wife had attacked him. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Hassan is reported to have been a successful banker and the founder of the first Muslim Television channel in America. It is said that the television station’s prime purpose was that of spreading tolerance among Americans and Muslims, proclaiming cultural and peaceful images of American Muslims. But, the incident with his wife exposed his deeper feelings of the Islamic teaching.

The other mention in the opening paragraph of the Pravda article was concerning the proposed building of the 15 story mosque referred to as the Cordoba House, to be built adjacent to the “ground zero” where the twin towers were brought down on September 11, 2001.

Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf, the leader of the future community of the mega-mosque in the heart of New York, kept repeating to the media that "Cordoba House" will become a place where people, regardless of their beliefs, will see a learwill be shown in their purest form - compassion, generosity and respect for all. (Ibid)

Protests and even some builders, refused to build the mosque and delays have so far prevented the building. On January 14, 2011, Rauf left his position of Senior Manager of the future mosque program and was replaced by Imam Abdullah Ahmad.

Ahmad studied Islam under Imam Siraj Waha who, according to the Pravda article, publicly stated in the 1990’s that if Muslims were smarter politically, they could have taken control of the United States and replaced its Constitution with the caliphate. He stated that eventually one way or another the so-called democracy would collapse and the only thing that would remain would be Islam. He also reportedly had close ties with the blind sheik Abdel Rahman Oman who headed the group who exploded a truck in the underground garage of the World Trade Center in 1993.

Another quote from the Pravda article shows somewhat of the vast differences between the Islamic stance and that of Christians and/or other religions is listed below:

WorldNetDaily on January 23, 2011. In his lecture, Ahmad explained that those who have forsaken the faith of the Prophet must be thrown into dungeons: "Those who preach their apostasy, promote their views - those should be put in jail." Leading the community of the mosque Ground Zero, Ahmad in his sermon at the end of January of 2011 did not fail to note that Islam was superior to any other religion, and Muhammad was above "all the prophets before him, from Adam to Noah, to Abraham and Moses and Jesus, and all between them." (Ibid)

This type of talk is allowed under our freedom of speech. It is diametrically opposed to the doctrine of Jesus Christ and unacceptable to Christians. I am thankful that they, and all people have this freedom of religion and of speech here. But the fact that many Americans are unwilling to speak against Shariah law and those things which are taught that are contrary to our laws, are hastening the day that some of their predictions will materialize. When huge numbers of men teach a unified doctrine and others do not oppose it, their expectations will come to pass.

The fact that we do have freedom of religion, is one of the first things which will fail when Muslims acheive majority status, or the upper hand in government.
