The title may seem hateful, but it is not intended to be so. But it bothers me to see it, one election after another. I recall very distinctly in 2008, Fred Thompson was in the shadows for months, undecided as to whether or not he should run. I had hoped with all my heart that he would. But he waited until the last minute to toss his hat into the ring and then, without much time for campaigning, he made a poor showing in the early Iowa caucus, and because of that, he dropped out. I believe Thompson would have made an excellent president and I do believe he could have won, had he got a good head start and seen it through. The conservatives would have backed him much stronger than McCain. But now, we have at least a possible 3 or 4 late arrivals in an already overcrowded field.
Rick Perry, Texas’ longest serving governor and he has an outstanding record of achievements while there. His economical record is unusually outstanding and may very well be his ace in the hole if he runs. But he has been wishy-washy in trying to decide whether or not to run. In the beginning, it appeared that he would, but later announced that he would not. Recently however, he is again toying with the idea of running. But his extreme hesitation can very well work against him. I suggest to him that, if he intends to run, get it on! A candidate should be well up in the polls long before the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries. And there aren’t too many months to go. I’ve heard rumors that both he and Sarah Palin have been waiting to see if the other runs. A rather foolish stand.
Sarah Palin, excels in one area, that of name recognition. But Sarah should not run. I believe she would make a good president, however, she has so many liberal lies told on her that it would take months to try and erase them. And, they are highly capable of telling more. She is good and intelligent lady, earning more right now than she would as president, so my advice is to hold on to what she now has. I suppose all have heard of the 24,000 emails the state of Alaska has released from her files while governor. All liberals went wild…”Now we have her!”. Wrong! The emails have been a great boost for the lady. They show that she has been a conscientious worker and loyal to her state and constituents. Nothing similar to Weinergate or the Clinton ovalbrothel. In fact many have been very disappointed in the complete lack of exciting mud to sling.
Chris Christie, Yes there’s Chris about to announce his candidacy it appears. Christie has been able to gain a little name recognition, especially from Ann Coulter who seems to be infatuated with him. Coulter, normally recognized for her outspoken far right rhetoric, suddenly finds the field of conservatives unworthy of the calling except for the possibility of Chris. Well, let us investigate Chris. He has many questionable activities in his past, some of which will not set well with many conservatives.
1. Christie has been accused of using his office's role in crafting deferred prosecution agreements to award lucrative federal monitoring positions in no-bid contracts to friends, supporters, and allies.[21] Questions first arose after Christie awarded a multimillion dollar, no-bid contract to David Kelley, another former U.S. Attorney, who had investigated Christie's brother, Todd Christie, in a 2005 fraud case involving traders at the Wall Street firm, Spear, Leeds & Kellogg.[22][23] Kelley had declined to prosecute Todd Christie, who had been ranked fourth in the investigation-initiating U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) complaint among twenty traders who earned the largest profits for their company at the expense of their customers. The top three were indicted, as were eleven other traders. (Wikipedia) (Also see: Federal Prosecutor's Brother Among 20 Charged in Trading Scheme-New York Times)
2. Christie did not oppose the proposition of building a mosque near ground zero, calling on Democrats and Republicans alike not to make a “political football out of the case. (ABC News: August 17, 2010)
3. Christie takes no firm position on illegal immigration. His stand is that being here illegally is “not a crime” unless the person has been deported and returns illegally. “Being undocumented may be a civil wrong, but it's not a criminal act, Christie said.” (24ahead.com)
4. And here is a very damaging report for his securing conservative votes. I personally have no substantiation for this material even though it reads as if it is factual. Read for yourself: (Robert M. Sutton- -Patriot Action Network)

I have not delved into Christie's positions. I only know that he seems to have a charisma and a strong political will. However, everything I hear is that he is not going to run. Enjoyed your article.
